How is a Vampire Facial performed?
A topical numbing cream is first applied to ensure your comfort during the facial, and your blood will be drawn to isolate your PRP in a centrifuge, in preparation for your skin. A microneedling device will then be used to create micro channels in your skin, before PRP is applied. Your skin will benefit from maximum absorption of your body’s natural serum, PRP using this method. Combining the microneedling treatment with PRP application creates a synergistic boost of healing and renewal within the skin– leaving your entire face rejuvenated and noticeably more youthful.
We also provide the Vampire Facelift treatment as well.

IS PRP SAFE?

Because your own blood is being used to treat your skin, there is no risk of having an allergic reaction, and very little risk of infection or adverse reaction from this treatment, due to PRP’s natural healing properties.
What’s the downtime with PRP skin rejuvenation?
Following your Vampire Facial with microneedling, you may incur some social downtime, though you will be able to do usual activities. Your face will be red from the microneedling and also feel tight as the PRP dries on your skin. Since PRP is a healing substance that is enhancing your results, it’s important to leave the PRP on your face and let it flake off naturally in the days following your treatment. PRP injections may involve some swelling after your treatment, a common side effect of any injection, but there’s essentially no downtime with PRP injections or PRP with dermal fillers.
Minimal swelling may occur from PRP injections, however there is essentially no downtime. You may want to refrain from social events due to the redness this treatment causes in the face. This subsides within a week. We recommend scheduling your PRP treatments well before any events, allowing ample time for your skin to recover and renew itself so you can enjoy optimal benefits.
